Conference

The association meets annually to share research progress, meet with other researchers, and establish the association’s upcoming priorities. Many CASC members also organize and/or participate in other research events nationally and internationally.
The 2025 CASC/ACÉC conference this year will be in partnership with the ICA CCR Global Research Conference 2025 to be hosted by the Institut international des coopératives Alphonse-et-Dorimène-Desjardins (IICADD) from July 8 to 11, at the HEC Montréal Hélène-Desmarais building in downtown Montreal. The conference will emphasize the importance of inter-cooperation in creating transformative change for justice, sustainability, and prosperity. We would also like to invite Masters, PhD, post-doctoral students and early researchers in institutions to the ICA CCR Young & Emerging Scholars (YES) Workshop, a one-day event on July 7 that aims at enhancing career development and networking opportunities for early researchers in cooperative studies. We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
Join us for a special one day Global Indigenous Cooperatives Network Workshop on July 7, at the Fédération des coopératives du Nouveau-Québec (FCNQ). This will be a great opportunity to share experiences, skills, and challenges in the Indigenous cooperative world. This event is hosted with FCNQ and Arctic Co-ops.
