Co-operative scholarship applications now being accepted

The Canadian Co-operative Association (CCA) is calling for applications for the three Canadian Association for Studies in Co-operation (CASC) scholarships administered by CCA:

·         Alexander Fraser Laidlaw Fellowship  (graduate students only)

·         Amy and Tim Dauphinee Scholarship (graduate students only)

·         Lemaire Co-operative Studies Award (undergraduate or graduate students)

Note these scholarships recognize both research on co-operative enterprises as well as involvement in co-operative enterprises. Please read the full description of these scholarships to learn more and to ensure your eligibility. More information is available here.

In addition to the monetary awards, winners of all three scholarships will be awarded a free one-year membership in the Canadian Association for Studies in Co-operation (CASC) as well as free registration at the 2015 CASC conference. Thanks to the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada and the Ontario Credit Union Charitable Foundation for supporting these scholarships.

The 2014 scholarship competition is now open and the deadline for all scholarships is March 31, 2014.
